Sustainable Growth
Despite its challenges, growth is a positive thing. But to achieve the benefits—for ourselves and for future generations—we must invest in our infrastructure and build a more resilient community. In practice, this means working with public, non-profit, and private partners to incorporate housing and development projects that meet the needs of all our residents while respecting and celebrating our tree canopy and natural environment.

Workforce Development
As we grow our local economy, we need to ensure local graduates have the training and skills needed to invest their talents in well-paying jobs. I’ve developed and led workforce training programs, and I’ve helped employers grow and scale their organizations. I know what it takes to create new educational and career opportunities in a community. As a Wilmington City Council member, I will work tirelessly to ensure residents in our city have the career opportunities they deserve.

Traffic & Transit
We need to face reality: our community has grown, but our infrastructure has not kept pace. Our roadways are congested and in some places hazardous to motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists. Finding and implementing solutions will require a long-term and comprehensive approach. We’ll need to identify and fix the pain points in our traffic grid. We’ll need to expand pedestrian, multiuse, and bike paths to provide transportation alternatives. We’ll need to rethink our transportation networks and invest in public transit. I love Wilmington and want it to be a place where everyone can travel safely.
